Bow Thrusters
We are authorised service representatives for Kawasaki steerable & side thrusters.
CPP Propulsion
Our service teams have experience in withdrawal & overhaul and servicing of C P propulsion of popular makes Wartsila, Kamome, MAN B & W, Schottel, Berge, Rolls Royce, ZF.
Propeller Repair
We are approved by IRS to carry out repair of propellers and blades. We undertake withdrawal, polishing and repair of FPP propellers.
Turbo Chargers
IAM teams can carry out complete overhauls of ABB, MET, KBB, Napier, IHI, MAN B & W turbochargers. Job scope included Ash blasting, bearing renewals and dynamic balancing of shaft assembly.
Rudder and Steering Systems
We are employed by shipyards to carry out inspection / repairs on steering gear, steering controls, emergency steering systems. Our repair experience extends to routine dismounting and repair of rudder assembly – rudder blades & stock inclusive of bearings.
Governors
We carry out removal, overhaul & testing and reinstallation of all auxiliary engine governors. We supply spares of Yanmar NZ61, Zexel RHD6 / RHD10 governors.
Starting Air Motors
We carry out overhaul & testing, supply spares of TDI and Ingersoll-Rand starting air motors.
Shipyard Repairs
IAM teams have assisted CSL, GRSE and also carried out independent ship refits, steel renewals, deck machinery repairs n Kochi, Kolkata, Port Blair & Mumbai.
ISRF - Maritime Park
IAM operates Unit No. 6 at the International Ship Repair Facility (ISRF), Kochi to facilitate testing and calibration of electrical / electronic equipment. This is planned to include facilities for repair and testing of hydraulic pump components.
